5. Agglomeration treatment
In order to improve the performance of chrome ore powder, it is usually necessary to agglomerate it. This can be achieved through the cold pressing pelletizing process, that is, the chrome ore powder is mixed with a binder and sent to a mixer. After mixing, it is transported to a pelletizing machine for pelletizing, and the chrome ore powder balls are obtained after drying.
6. Use of binders
During the agglomeration process, the use of specific binders can improve the strength and stability of the pellets. For example, the binder formula of a chrome ore powder ball includes silane-modified polyimide/bentonite composite material, silane-modified epoxy resin and other ingredients.
